The food here is excellent! I’m not sure what authentic Korean food should taste like but this seems very legitimate and tastes very homemade. The food is quite flavorful and not necessarily too spicy like I thought it would be. The service was not the best because it was just the owner and one young man basically taking care of the entire restaurant but somehow they made it work. This is a restaurant we will definitely return to for amazing Korean BBQ!

As a member of flavor town, I can say this place is off the hook and out of bounds. The spicy pork anything is next level goodness that will have you wanting more, Korean bbq pork with sweet heat on a taco, in a bowl or with a ramen bowl. It’s flavor over load in east Boca and you should check it out!

Amazing! I love that the waiter Enrique was knowledgeable, welcoming and up front about spice levels and was on point with his suggestions. We had the fries as an appetizer. Most flavorful fries I have ever had! I had the Bimibap with chicken in the stone hot pot. Made the texture of the rice slightly crispy which was a nice touch. Overall food was amazing and I will definitely be back !

Food was good and lots of variety. When items say it's spicey it is quite Spicey. Service is slow. Location and space is very small so think twice if you have a large party.

My bf and I were sooo satisfied with the food at Tacowa! It was so delicious. We had the spicy pork and bulgogi tacos, kimchi frieds, and the spicy pork bulgogi. Each and every single dish was flavorful with good portions. We can't wait to go back!

I am obsessed with everything Korean and really want to try everything on the menu but being sensitive to gluten I can’t eat almost anything. I usually get only kimchi fries there and once got plain chicken with rice (non-marinated). One of the times I asked to talk to the manager and asked what can be done but I didn’t get any inclination to be accommodated which was quite surprising. I am pretty sure they could get a wheat-free soy or tamari sauce or even coconut aminos and use it only for gluten-free people.

My wife and I both agree that the restaurant is more an introduction to Korean food for Westerners and falls short to satisfy those used to authentic Korean cuisine. In particular, there are no sides dishes served, rather miso soup and a small salad instead. The kitchen-prepared bulbogi was dry and luke warm, the bibimbab was also not hot enough and too sweet. We did particularly enjoy the scallion pancake, however. All in all, an average meal, but not authentic enough for us and temperature challenged.

Great food, great customer service and many dishes that can be shared. This was a great experience for me and my family. We would recommend it and definitely would go again.
